Volkswagen Brings Back the Golf Name

Four years ago, Volkswagen decided to revive the Rabbit name for North America. Unfortunately, it looks like the decision was not well received by the press and many other people—though consumers liked it. Consequently, the German manufacturer is bringing back the Golf name on the 2010 version of its popular car—a name used all over the world for the same car. Basically powered by a 2.5-litre five-cylinder engine, the Golf will also be available with a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel engine that will develop 140 horsepower. (ED)
