UCDA Beats MVDA Deadline

The Used Car Dealers Association (UCDA) has announced that they have developed the first vehicle lease contract that complies with the new Motor Vehicle Dealers Act (MVDA) lease regulations, which come online January 1, 2010. With a growing number of used car dealers opting for leasing as an alternative to financing, this new lease agreement is sure to benefit all parties. As of January 1, dealers must include specific disclosures about vehicles they lease out, and the lease agreement must contain statements as set out in the regulations. (JK)
