Toyota Recall: 84% of repairs carried out



Toyota Canada Inc. has posted an update covering the outstanding progress accomplished with regard to repairs to Lexus and Toyota vehicles which were recalled for a sticking gas pedal and their ABS software updating.

As per Toyota, 84% of repairs to solve this problem have been carried out.

- 225,924 repairs have been performed to remedy the potential problem of the sticking gas pedal on 268,908 recalls (Models Rav4 2009-2010, Corolla 2009-2010, Matrix 2009-2010, Avalon 2005-2010, Camry 2007-2010, Highlander 2010, Tundra 2007-2010 and Sequoia 2008-2010 sold in Canada)

- 4,633 ABS software updatings have been done on some Prius and 2010 Lexus HS 250h on a total of 5,610 recalled vehicles.
