Toyota Improves Its FJ Cruiser

Toyota Canada recently began the sale of its 2010 FJ Cruiser SUV and, though it’s not noticeable at first glance, it includes important improvements. Among these is a 4.0-litre V6 engine that now develops 259 horsepower (20 more than last year) and 270 lb-ft of torque. Toyota announces that with a six-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission, this powerplant will show a 5% improvement on fuel economy. What’s more, the 2010 FJ Cruiser is now available in a new colour—Army Green. This Toyota SUV comes in three trims: base, with Off Road package, and Adventure package. Its base price is $31,500.
