The Volt will soon roll on Canadian roads

Available in the U.S. a few months before us, the Chevrolet Volt will come up North as a 2012 model-year product. We spoke with Marc Comeau, General Motors of Canada’s vice-president of sales, service and marketing, during the Montreal auto show press preview last week. He confirmed Hydro-Québec will buy the first 20 units and that “the Volt is gathering a lot of interest and those who contacted us first were mayors or well known leaders.”

It sure looks like the Volt will show up first in fleets all over the country. Let us know if you are jumping on the bandwagon.
