The Next New Buick Will Be a Regal

Buick has officially announced that its next new midsize sedan will bear the name Regal, thus reviving an older familiar nameplate. Though no additional details were unveiled, the car expected to arrive on the market in 2011 will most probably look like the actual Regal already marketed in China. The Chinese Regal is based on the well-received Opel Insignia also on the market now in Europe. Underpinnings on the Regal would be similar to those already found under the new Buick La Crosse.
