The Internet Is Coming to Cars

Cadillac has just announced it would offer optional dealer-installed equipment that will allow people in the car to use computers and other similar devices with the Internet. The equipment provider will be Autonet Mobile. Obviously, users will first be rear-seat passengers. The system is built around the mobile router by Autonet, the same company that provides Uconnect Web now available in some Chrysler products. The option will first be offered to American customers.
