 The Honda Civic remains the most popular car in Canada for the 12th consecutive year with 62,654 units sold in 2009. Since 1973, more than 1.5 million Honda Civics were sold in Canada. Other than the Hybrid version, all Civics sold in our country were built in Canada, all at the Honda plant in Alliston, Ontario where more than 5.3 millions Hondas were built in the last 23 years. The Alliston plant also produces some Acura vehicles, including the Canada-only CSX based on the Civic. (ED)
