The BMW X1 in North America

German manufacturer BMW unveiled its all-new X1 small SUV at the Frankfurt Auto Show. According to many reliable sources, the compact SUV will be available in North America later in 2010. The crossover will be priced above the 1 Series. The first prices announced in Europe are close to 30,000 Euros. The X1 will be powered by a six-cylinder gasoline engine and it will be available with front or all-wheel drive. Slightly longer than the 1 Series cars, the X1 will be able to carry five passengers.
