Tuesday, April 21, 2009 Rolls-Royce Is Preparing a Smaller Sedan, the Ghost
Expect a “smaller” super-luxury sedan from Rolls-Royce some time in 2010. According to the manufacturer, the car will be called “Ghost,” a name used for the first time in 1906 by the British automaker on its 40/50 model. This new Rolls-Royce will be built in more than 1,000 units a year and will be based on the 200EX model shown here. It will be powered by a 6.6-litre V12 gasoline engine mated to an eight-speed transmission. The Ghost, which should debut at the Frankfurt auto show in September, could sell for 200,000 to 250,000 euros. (ED)
