Ontario Encourages Hybrids Buyers

GM Canada recently applauded a new initiative from the government of Ontario that will provide rebates and incentives to buyers of hybrid vehicles. The consumers will benefit from rebates of between $4,000 and $10,000 when buying a hybrid past July 1 2010. They will also receive a green vehicle license plate that will allow them to use carpool lanes as well as public charging facilities and parking at Ontario government and GO Transit lots.
