New Connectivity Navigation Radio in A6 and A7

Is connectivity and use of various medias important in your fleet? If so, you will like to be aware of the fact that Audi's newest vehicles, the sophisticated A6 Sedan and the Audi A7 Sportback are now equipped with Delphi Automotive's Connectivity Navigation Radio (CNR) platform.

The flexible infotainment system design is based on Delphi's scalable hardware platform unveiled last year on the Audi A1 (shown). The CNR platform addresses multiple market needs, including phase diversity dual-tuner reception, the ability to add multiple digital tuner modules such as digital audio broadcast/DAB and multiple types of connectivity.

The open CNR software architecture allows Audi to configure its vehicles with simple software upgrades to offer more than 20 variations of a new infotainment platform. The scalable design also helps to differentiate vehicles while fulfilling requirements for radio reception, user connectivity and navigation, now and in the future.
