NAFA Member Named Top Government Green Fleet In North America

NAFA Member David Seavey, CAFM, and the City of Seattle were chosen as the top Green Fleet in North America during the Green Fleet Conference in San Diego last October.   Seavey, the City's Fleet Manager, received an award and a check for $1,000 by Tom Johnson, author of the 100 Best Fleets program.

The annual Government Green Fleet Award is open to all federal, state, and local government fleets in North America.  Evaluation standards are divided into the following categories: fleet composition, fuel and emissions, policy and planning, fleet utilization, education, executive and employee involvement, and supporting programs.

Seavey, who joined NAFA Fleet Management Association in 2004, continues the proud tradition of award-winning fleet managers within the Association.
