Monday, January 25, 2010 Mitsubishi Introduces a New Outlander in 2010
Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada officially introduced its new and redesigned compact SUV Outlander to the automotive press in Lac Sacacomie, Quebec last week. The new Outlander is easily recognized by its new large grille that was inspired by the actual Lancer Evolution performance car. Mitsubishi calls it the “jet fighter” look. Available in three trim levels, the new Outlander will be offered with a four-cylinder front-wheel drive base version or an all-wheel drive V6 powered SUV, the XLS being the top of the line. The latter will also include a new S-AWC all-wheel drive system with unique front axle traction system that sends torque not only between the front and the rear axle but also from one wheel to the other according to traction. Product Planning Manager Don Ulmer presented the new Outlander. (ED)
