Mercedes-Benz sold 1,567 Sprinter in 2010

Mercedes-Benz Canada reported today that Mercedes-Benz passenger car and luxury light truck sales totaled 28,065 for the year. This represents the Mercedes-Benz brand's best results ever in the company's 55-year history in Canada.

Sales for the group can be broken down as follows: 28,065 Mercedes-Benz vehicles, 2,019 smart fortwos, and 1,567 Sprinter vans, for a grand total of 31,651 units retailed throughout 2010. Passenger car sales totaled 16,497 units in 2010, representing a gain of 12.5% or 1,830 vehicles. On the luxury light trucks side, a total of 11,568 units were delivered throughout the year, which represents a growth of 20.4% or 1,959 units.

This significant achievement represents by far the best ever year-end total for the company, and an increase of 17.5% or 4,708 units compared to 2009's already record-breaking results.
