Monday, November 16, 2009 Mercedes-Benz Could Bring a Small Luxury Car to North America
 According to The Wall Street Journal, German manufacturer Daimler AG could bring a small luxury car to North America as soon as 2012. The small car would then compete with the Audi A3, the BMW 1 Series, and the Mini Cooper. Mercedes-Benz already has an A-Class car in Europe but, as Daimler CEO Dieter Zetsche told the newspaper, Mercedes would rather wait for one of the four next-generation compact models it will be selling later in 2011 in Europe.
