Thursday, May 28, 2009 Mahindra is Coming to North America
You’ve probably heard the name Mahindra before—in fact, Mahindra already sells small farm tractors in the U.S. and Canada. But it is poised to enter the local market with a small diesel powered pick-up truck in a few months, most probably in November or December 2009, starting with the U.S. With an estimated dealer body of 330, India-based Mahindra & Mahindra expects to sell about 50,000 units of its light truck, which was highly modified for the North American market since it was first shown at the Paris Auto Show in 2006.
