JM Family Lends Hand to Food Banks Throughout North America

JM Family Enterprises recently held it’s first-ever companywide food drive and raised 27,000 pounds of food for 10 non-profit organizations throughout North America. The event, called the “Fall Fill-Up” took place October 26 through November 6. “Each of the company’s 10 locations throughout North America selected a local charity as the recipient of our donations. In Canada thousands of pounds of food was donated to The Mississauga Food Bank in Mississauga, Ontario and La Guignolee in Montreal, Quebec”, explained Richard Carpentier, managing director, Business Development, DataScan Field Services/DataScan Technologies. He added that the company plans to continue their charitable efforts donating food and, possibly donating volunteer time to sort food as well in the future. (LB)
