Tuesday, January 04, 2011 Hyundai surpasses 2009 by 14.8 percent
 Hyundai Auto Canada Corp. announced yesterday it had sold 118,507 units in 2010, surpassing the company's previous annual sales record set in 2009 by 14.8 percent.
During the month of December the company sold 6,104 units, an increase of 18.4 percent over the same month in 2009. December also extended Hyundai Canada's streak of consecutive months of year-over-year sales growth to 24. The company eclipsed its 2009 sales record of 103,233 units sold before the end of October on its way to achieving a perfect score of 12 best-ever months.
