Hyundai Has Reviewed Its Azera

As many people thought that Korean automaker Hyundai might kill its Azera mid-sized luxury sedan, the manufacturer just unveiled a reviewed 2011 version of the car at the Chicago Auto Show. Appearance-wise, changes are limited to a new grille, new headlights, LED tail lamps, fog lamps, high-gloss window trims, a new trunk lid, and new alloy wheels. Under the hood is the traditional 3.3 litre V6 that now develops 260 horsepower while the larger 3.8-litre V6 produces 283 horsepower. These engines have been modernized with Hyundai’s Dual Continuously Variable Valve Timing (DCWT). The interior also gets slight improvements. The new 2011 Azera will hit the showrooms later in Spring. Note that the Azera does not show in the Canadian Hyundai catalogue in 2010. (ED)
