Tuesday, July 12, 2011 High Road Warranty Chooses Atlantic Canada For Its Marketing Debut
High Road Warranty, the first and only extended vehicle warranty sold exclusively through Canada's network of insurance brokerages, launched its inaugural consumer advertising campaign in Atlantic Canada late last month. Started during the week of June 27, and for the following four weeks, radio and newspaper advertisements are runingn in St. John's Newfoundland, Charlottetown Prince Edward Island, Moncton, Fredericton, and Saint John New Brunswick, and Halifax and Sydney Nova Scotia.
"Making our first impression in Atlantic Canada was an easy choice," states Shawn McLaughlin, High Road Warranty's National Marketing Manager. "It's there where we have some of our most active brokers, and where our broker representation is the highest - there isn't a major centre in the East where someone wouldn't be able to buy a High Road extended vehicle warranty."
High Road Warranty was officially launched in January, 2011, but has since been quietly building its network of approved insurance brokerages before starting its consumer advertising efforts. As of July 5, 2011, 110 brokerages were, or were about to be identified as Approved High Road Warranty Selling Brokerages, with representation in every province across Canada. Atlantic Canada alone is home to over a third of those active brokers, all of which sell High Road's complete line of extended vehicle warranties.
"Certainly we wanted to introduce High Road Warranty as an extended car warranty company to Canadians, but given that we in Canada have generally never been able to purchase an extended vehicle warranty or used car warranty other than through our car dealer at the time of a vehicle purchase, we also wanted to get the word out that Canadian drivers can now purchase mechanical breakdown protection alongside their annual auto insurance policy," continued Shawn McLaughlin. The flight of ads released in Atlantic Canada share the theme, "Yes, we cover that," and playfully demonstrate that there are better things to spend money on than on costly vehicle repairs.
