Heavy Duty: Ford’s Answer to GM



Ford launched the new 2011 Power Stroke 6.7 litre engine with 390 HP with a torque of 735 foot pound. A few months later, GM introduced the 6.6 litre Duramax version developing 397 HP with a torque reaching 765 foot pound.

This week, Ford disclosed the modifications made to the Power Stroke to take the lead again. The horsepower is now up to 400 HP and the torque reaches 800 foot pound.
