Thursday, September 10, 2009 GM Renames the Allure, Becomes the LaCrosse
Though it might sound funny in French, General Motors of Canada has decided to give its new little Buick the same name it bears in the United States. Consequently, in 2010, Buick smallest sedan will be called the LaCrosse, ending the Allure nameplate that was chosen for its predecessor. By doing so, Buick management in Canada will be able to leverage the major advertising and creative campaign developed for the launch the car in the U.S. (ED)
