GM and CAW Agree



It seems that GM and the CAW have reached a tentative labour agreement that will bring the GM’s labour costs to much more competitive levels and help ensure their long term viability. The agreement marks a positive further step in GM Canada's Restructuring Plan submitted to the Ontario and Federal Governments on February 20, 2009. GM complimented CAW for their leadership to share sacrifices in these extremely challenging economic times. (SB)
