GEOTrac Attributes Growth to High Customer Satisfaction Levels

GEOTrac Systems Inc., a Calgary-based, wireless fleet management provider, announced that despite the global economic recession, the company has reported a 1,294 percent increase in revenue during the past five years. The company has had to triple the number of employees just to keep pace with this incredible growth.

In the 23rd annual PROFIT 200 ranking of Canada's Fastest-Growing Companies by PROFIT Magazine, GEOTrac was ranked 38 in a long list of distinguished companies.

GEOTrac has been a partner with the oil and gas industry since 2003. While the industry leads the world in drilling and exploration technologies, it was lagging in the remote worker safety and fleet optimization. GEOTrac began detailing private oil and gas lease roads throughout the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB). As new roads were constructed by large oil and gas producers, GEOTrac placed data loggers on these vehicles to capture GPS coordinates. These coordinates were used to build the most comprehensive oil and gas road maps in the industry.

Today, as the largest fleet management provider for the Canadian oil and gas industry, GEOTrac feeds GPS coordinates from thousands of vehicles every day. Every time a customer logs into our web-based application, they get the latest map detail as provided by current activity in the field.
