Georgian College Auto Show Moves to June

The 26th annual Georgian College Auto Show, normally held in the fall each year, is moving to June (June 3, 4, 5).

“This move will allow us to make better use of space on college property,” says Stephanie Titus, Director, Media Relations for the 2011 Auto Show Committee. “We also hope to take advantage of warmer weather. Our theme this year is Change, Adapt, Imagine and we are looking forward to the new season for our show, adapting to the change, and imagining the possibilities it will present for us.”

Billed as the “largest outdoor, student-run auto show in North America,” the Georgian College Auto Show attracts 20,000-plus visitors each year from across southern Ontario. Organized by students attending Georgian’s CAI at the Barrie Campus, the show has something for everyone – from the classic car fan, to the high-powered sports car enthusiast, to the couple looking for the perfect new family vehicle.
