Thursday, September 24, 2009 Ford to Announce a Third Chinese Car Plant
 According to Reuters news agency, Ford Motor Co and its Chinese partner are about to announce plans for a third car manufacturing plant in China. Ford, competing with General Motors, has sales outpacing its existing capacity. The new plant based in Chongqing will have a capacity of some 150,000 units a year adding to the current 447,000 units already producing. Ford produces Focuses and Mondeos in China. (ED)
