Tuesday, January 20, 2009 Ford F-150 and Hyundai Genesis—Car and Truck of the Year
 The North American International Auto Show opened up last Sunday with a major announcement: the 2009 Hyundai Genesis was named North American Car of the Year, a first for the Korean manufacturer, while the newly redesigned Ford F-150 grabbed the Truck of the Year award, a third time for this make and model. These awards were decided by a panel of 50 North American automotive journalists. (ED)
