Friday, July 22, 2011 Fleet Managers Name Continental as Best Tire Brand
 Over 2,400 readers chose Continental for the No. 1 spot in the tires category of the Firmenauto fleet magazine’s Best Brands 2011 award.
The prize was presented at the Europa-Park theme park in Rust by the magazine together with the DEKRA inspection services company at the end of June. It recognizes companies that display a special commitment to serving fleet market needs, deliver above-average quality, work in a highly customer-oriented manner, and thus earn themselves a strong brand popularity among the vehicle fleet managers. Continental received this award in 2011 for the fifth time in succession.
“We’re very pleased about being able to defend the title four times in a row, and see this as an incentive to defend our leading position in this market segment next year as well”, said Katja Hinze, who is responsible for passenger tire replacement sales in the German fleet business at Continental.
