EV Innovations (EVII), 21st Century Design & Engineering of emission-free automotive propulsion systems using the latest lithium battery technology, will undoubtedly get attention as they display their much sought after LiV WAVE all electric vehicle at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas, November 3-6.
The WAVE's radical design uses an exoskeleton hybrid structure surrounding a composite, aluminum, and steel safety cage allowing for additional strength and security from both components. The exoskeleton design is intended to pull the forces of a crash and distribute it over and under the passenger compartment.
EVII's WAVE runs 100% on prismatic lithium ion polymer batteries where the power train and batteries are controlled by the company's proprietary battery management system. The battery management system has the capability to control overcharge, under discharge, exceeding temperatures and performs charge balancing of all individual cells for the best performance and mileage during driving.
EVII R&D efforts have been successfully implemented in a multi state programmable charger which follows a unique algorithm. EVII's patent pending charge balancing algorithms allow for maximized range and battery life while reducing charging time. (SB)
