Chrysler Looking at a New Version of Its Sebring and Avenger

According to many specialized publications, Chrysler’s new management is already at work looking at replacing the actual mid-sized Chrysler Sebring and Dodge Avenger sedans. Chrysler looked at the possibility of a stretched version of Fiat’s compact D-Evo platform but it would not be big enough for North American needs. Consequently, the latest rumours have it that the next Chrysler mid-sized sedan would be based on a shortened version of the actual LX platform used for the Chrysler 300/Dodge Charger/Dodge Challenger and designed to look like the 200C EV concept car shown at the Detroit Auto Show last January.
