Monday, February 08, 2010 Chrysler Canada’s Retail Sales Climb 20% in January
 Chrysler Canada has just announced that its retail sales climbed 20% for the month of January 2010, compared to last year at the same period. The company reports that its sales for the month totalled 11,940 units, a record for such a month. Consequently, Chrysler started the year as the No. 2 selling automaker in the country. Many of its products contributed to such a record, including the Dodge Journey, still Canada’s top selling crossover, and the Ram pick-up, of which sales grew 110% for the month. The company’s minivan captured an 82% market share while the Charger’s sales grew 19%. Jeep’s Patriot, Compass, and Wrangler’s sales grew respectively 29%, 10%, and 9%. (ED)
