Chrysler Begins Production at 7 North American Assembly Plants



One week after teaming up with Fiat, Chrysler announced that it will resume volume production of vehicles with the start-up of seven of its North American assembly plants the week of June 29.

The following assembly plants are scheduled to resume production at the end of the month:

  • Sterling Heights Assembly Plant (Mich.) – Chrysler Sebring/Dodge Avenger

  • Warren Truck Assembly Plant (Mich.) – Dodge Ram/Dodge Dakota

  • St. Louis North Assembly Plant (Mo.) – Dodge Ram

  • Toledo Supplier Park (Ohio) – Jeep Wrangler/Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

  • Brampton Assembly Plant (Brampton, Ontario) – Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger/Challenger

  • Windsor Assembly Plant (Windsor, Ontario) – Chrysler Town & Country/Dodge Grand Caravan

  • Toluca Assembly Plant (Mexico) – Dodge Journey/Chrysler PT Cruiser

The Powertrain and Stamping facilities supplying these assembly plants will also be operating. (SB)
