 car2go Vancouver announced a partnership with Kwantlen Student Association. This partnership will provide Kwantlen University students with more transportation options between campuses, a monthly subsidy to use the car2go services, and an expanded operating area.
Students of Kwantlen University can register with car2go free of charge and will be able to pick up a smart fortwo car2go vehicle at any one of the dedicated car2go parking spots located at the Richmond, Surrey, Langley and Cloverdale campuses. The Kwantlen Student Association Multipass Program will subsidize a fixed amount per month, per student. Starting September 6, 2011, each eligible student will receive a 20 minute driving credit towards the car2go service each month.
