Camaro Convertible—Confirmed for 2011

GM has confirmed it: the convertible version of the new Camaro will go into production in early 2011. Rumours had it that the concept had been cancelled, but this was denied by GM spokespeople. Originally, the convertible was scheduled for early 2010. According to GM people, both the V6 and the V8 models will be offered when it goes into production. The production of the coupe version of the car—which is made in Canada—began last March. (ED)
