CADA Celebrates New Chairman



The Board of Directors of the Canadian Automobile Dealers Association (CADA) elected Neil Kalawsky to serve as the association’s 69th Chairman. Kalawsky takes over from Saskatchewan’s William A. (Bill) Taylor.

Kalawsky began his automotive career after articling with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Alberta, joining Camrose Auto Service, a Ford dealership in his hometown of Camrose, Alberta. He became President and General Manager of Kalawsky Pontiac Buick GMC in Killam, Alberta in 1978. After moving to B.C. in 1989 he continued his retail career in a new store: Kalawsky Pontiac Buick GMC name in Castlegar, and also owns a Toyota and Hyundai dealership. (JK)
