 BSQUARE Corporation announced its membership in the GENIVI Alliance, a non-profit automotive industry alliance driving the broad adoption of an in-vehicle infotainment (IVI) reference platform. By joining the Alliance BSQUARE demonstrates the company's commitment to the development of innovative Linux-based IVI solutions for the automotive industry.
IVI is a rapidly growing field that encompasses the wide range of connected information and entertainment experiences in the automotive environment including features and functionalities new to the auto such as multimedia services, telephony, Internet-enabled applications, news and navigation.
