Audi Canada Appoints New President

Audi recently announced that Wolfgang Hoffmann will be joining Audi Canada as President in the New Year replacing Martin Sander who is taking over as Managing Director of Audi UK. Hoffmann is presently the Chief Operating Officer of Lamborghini America LLC.

"I am extremely excited by this opportunity and am looking forward to building on the successes of Audi Canada,” Hoffmann said. “Since forming in 2008 Audi Canada has been setting one record after another. With our upcoming product offerings I am confident this will continue. On a personal note my family and I are very happy to be beginning a new chapter in Canada."

Hoffmann was born in Pforzheim Germany in 1966. He went to school in Germany and the UK where he completed a degree course in Engineering and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) respectively. In 1997 he joined AUDI AG moving to new management positions such as R&D Project Manager A3 and Head of Product Marketing A6. Since 2005 he has been based with Audi of America first as the Director of Product Management and then as General Manager New York Metro Area. At the beginning of 2010 he took his present position as Chief Operating Officer Automobili Lamborghini America LLC. Hoffmann is married with two children.
