Tuesday, July 28, 2009 Acura to Launch a Four-door Coupe, the ZDX
The Acura ZDX seen in its concept form at the New York Auto Show last April will be built soon, according to Automotive News. Sharing its platform with the MDX crossover, the five-seat ZDX hatchback with glass roof and hidden rear-door handles will be powered by a 300-hp 3.7-litre V6 engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission manually operated with wheel paddle shifters. The ZDX will compete against cars like the Mercedes-Benz CLS and, mostly, the new BMW 5-Séries Gran Turismo. Pricing has not been released. (ED)
