Matte Urethane Clearcoat

Kirker Automotive Finishes introduces EC325 Matte Urethane Clearcoat that dries to an even, smooth matte finish, making it an ideal choice for custom refinish and other applications where a reduced sheen is required. This user-friendly clearcoat flows and levels nicely, featuring superior clarity and minimal color distortion compared with low-gloss clears from other manufacturers. It also provides superior protection against weathering, stone chips and chemicals, as well as UV rays. It also has superior scratch and chip resistance.

It may be applied over ULTRA-GLO single-stage urethanes, SPECTRA Series candy colors or other manufacturer’s basecoats. EC325 may also be used over well-prepped factory finishes, as long as the existing paint is intact and in good shape.
Matte Urethane Clearcoat mixes 4:1 fast, medium and slow clear activators, depending on shop temperature and airflow conditions at the time of application. Applies in two medium wet coats, just like any conventional gloss clear.
